I took Cortney with Mongo to AAA Pet Resort today. Turns out Mondo was adopted from MCAS about 6 years ago because her husband traveled a lot and he wanted her to have a dog that would protect her, and she wanted a lovebug. Someone at MCAS showed Mondo to them, they were leaving without him & Mondo broke away and gave Cortney huge hugs so they took him.
Turns out Mondo did protect her when a burglar broke in while hubby was out of town. She said the police knew it was him because Mono had taken a chunk out of his leg.
So he saved her, now we're helping her save him.
